Letham Handmade Pottery Decorations

Service Description

Join us at Letham Village Hall for a cosy festive evening as we create our own handmade pottery decorations, with artist and workshop tutor Deborah Cameron. During this workshop you will have a choice of some lovely white earthenware and rich terracotta clays to use along with cutters, stencils, stamps, slips and underglazes to create your set of own unique handmade decorations - perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree, decorating your home, or gifting as a special handmade present. These will be stored in our kiln room until they are ready for firing and then fired in our kiln and sealed with an acrylic sealer before being returned to you approx 4 weeks later - in plenty of time for having them ready to gift or add to your Christmas tree! (please note these are not glazed and are suitable for indoors and outdoors) All materials, light refreshments and tuition included This workshop is suitable for individuals aged 14 above. Participants 14-16 must be accompanied by an adult. Suitable for beginners - no experience required - just bring yourself and a readiness to have a lovely evening sipping hot chocolate and getting creative with clay!
