Join us for a small group workshop at Collessie Victory Hall amidst twinkling fairy lights for a morning of creativity as we prepare for the upcoming festive season creating handmade pottery Christmas or small gifts decorations, with artist and workshop tutor Deborah Cameron During this workshop you will have a choice of some lovely white earthenware and rich terracotta clays to use along with cutters, stencils, stamps, slips and underglazes to create your set of own unique handmade decorations - perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree, decorating your home, or gifting as a special handmade present. You could make festive reindeer, robins, stars, hearts, gingerbread men, jumpers, Christmas trees, snowmen - or even personalised decorations with family or friends or even pets names! What ever you choose I'll be there to support you to make something special Your pottery will be safely stored until they are ready for firing and then kiln fired and sealed with an acrylic sealer before being returned to you approx 2 weeks later - in plenty of time for having them ready to gift or add to your Christmas tree! (please note these are not glazed and are suitable for indoors and outdoors) This workshop is suitable for individuals aged 11 above. Participants 11-16 must be accompanied by an adult. Suitable for beginners - no experience required - just bring yourself and a readiness to have a great morning getting creative with clay! All materials, light refreshments, festive cheer, tuition and kiln firing of your work included
